Thank you for taking part in this exciting opportunity to help make RIT a healthy and engaged campus!

MHFA is a skills-based training course for anyone who wants to make their community healthier, happier, and safe. Through this training, you will learn:

  • How to describe and talk about mental health, openly and non-judgmentally.

  • Approach, reassure, and support a fellow RIT community member when they are struggling with their mental health.

  • Explore what self-care looks like for you and practical applications of self-care.

To arrange for a training, please fill out the form below. If you have any questions about the form, please contact Beau Gibbs (bmghcw@rit.edu).

This course has 8-hours of content that can be delivered either in an in-person training or a blended training.
We have the ability to give the entire training in both ASL and English. What language would you like the training to be delivered in?

Note: This question is NOT asking if you need access services for your training. There is a section later in this form where you can inform us of what, if any, access services your group needs. This question is asking what language you want our trainers to give the training in.
