Faculty Senate is the legislative body of the faculty at RIT and as such spends a great deal of time discussing and approving academic policy. However, as the representative body of the faculty, the Senate considers and offers advice on other matters of university welfare. Thus a limited amount of time is budgeted each year for such engagement. If you feel that Senate can assist you in achieving your goals, we encourage you to request time at one of the regularly scheduled meetings, generally every other week during the academic year.
